 The AEPR conference on “Digital Finance” was held online on October 1, 2021, inviting experts from Japan and abroad. In light of the current progress in the digitization of various financial services, active discussions were held on the latest trends and future prospects in Asia. Specifically, the topics covered included the fintech situation in Japan and China, the use of big data by central banks in Asian countries, and the trend of digital currency in China. The papers submitted to the conference will be revised and edited based on the content of the conference, and will be published in July 2022 after review by the editors.
