Human resources play an important role in enhancing a country’s competitiveness. Education is the foundation for strengthening these human resources. In this issue of AEPR focused on the issue of higher education, which is key to the future of the Asian economy. Specifically, there were active discussions on the current status and prospects of higher education in Japan, China, Thailand, and Malaysia, as well as reports on case studies from the United States.
