Although policy responses and vaccinations in various countries are expected to be effective, the future still remains uncertain. In this conference, there was a lively exchange of views on the economic impact of the spread of the new coronavirus on Asian countries, the policy responses of Southeast Asian countries to the coronavirus outbreak, the shortage of medical equipment supplies, and trade policy issues.
