 The 29th conference of Asian Economic Policy Review (AEPR) was held in Tokyo on April 6, 2019. The theme was “Trade War”.
 Recently, the US-China trade war is casting shadows over the global economy as a huge risk. In the conference, many trade war related issues were discussed: What’s behind the Trump’s protectionism, causes, prospects and impacts of the U.S. -China trade war, lessons learned from the trade wars during interwar period, and consideration of OPAs and WTO reform. The revised papers will get final reviews by editors and the approved papers will be published in the journal in January 2020.
